The Duo hardware token is no longer available for students to purchase. A previously purchased token can still be used for Penn State`s instance of 2FA; however, students can no longer purchase a new one.

The Duo Security platform supports FIDO U2F security keys, which have replaced hardware tokens as the industry standard. These keys cannot be obtained from Software at Penn State, but can be purchased from many online retailers.
